Every year the FCI awards these two shows to a member country. Their Winner titles are highly sought after.
How it works
The World Dog Show and the European Dog Show move to a different country each year. The best of each sex in a breed receive titles such as World Winner or European Winner, with junior and veteran versions.
Preparing well
Entries close early and rings are crowded: book lodging as soon as the show is announced, check your breed times the day before and expect long waits. It is also a chance to see judges and dogs from all over the world.
