Showing in Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Eastern Europe
The answer
Lots of international shows, often doubled over a weekend: ideal for progressing towards the C.I.B.
Why people go
The national clubs (ZKwP in Poland, ČMKU in Czechia, MEOE in Hungary…) run many international shows, sometimes two on the same weekend at the same venue. For a dog aiming at the international champion title, it is a chance to add CACIBs in new countries and under new judges.
Plan for
The local currency (złoty, Czech koruna, forint), catalogues often bilingual with English, and sometimes payment of entries by international transfer: allow for bank delays before closing.
Rules change: always check the current conditions on the national kennel club's and the organiser's websites before entering.
