Showing in Belgium and the Netherlands
The answer
Nearby, frequent shows, and often the first experience abroad.
Belgium
The Société Royale Saint-Hubert (SRSH) organises and approves shows. The country is trilingual: depending on the region, a show runs in French, Dutch or German, and catalogues are often bilingual.
Netherlands
The Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied is the national club. Major international shows, such as those in Amsterdam, draw exhibitors from all over Europe. English is widely spoken around the rings.
Rules change: always check the current conditions on the national kennel club's and the organiser's websites before entering.
